I am agricultural enthusiast, a native of Jamaica, I consider myself to be diligent, with a facilitating personality continuously striving for excellence. I am currently an Agricultural Inspector within the AHIS unit of the Cayman Islands Department of Agriculture. I am graduate of Knockalva Agricultural School and the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (CASE). with some work experience with the Caribbean Agricultural Research and Development Institute (CARDI). I have learned and appreciate the importance of the technicalities and how the applied science of agriculture impacts the human and social fabric of life's sustainability. Role of Plant Quarantine in Biodiversity Conservation Plant Quarantine is a legislative (regulatory) method that applies conditions and/or requirements for the intra-regional and international movement/trade of flora to exclude or prevent pests from entering into an area where they do not exist.
